16 Nov 5 policemen were arrested for alleged kidnapping involvement: caught on CCTV
Five policemen were arrested and now in the custody of the National Bureau of Investigation (NBI) due to the alleged involvement in the kidnapping of a 33-year old Enrique Fernandez III.
According to a report by Sunstar.com, the arrest was conducted last Tuesday in Cagayan de Oro and the suspects were identified as Senior Inspector Ereneo Ramirez, chief of the Crime against Person and Property Desk and his subordinates: Police Officer 3 Alejandro Ubanan, Senior Police Officer 2 Jojo Lim, Senior Police Officer 1 Alaindelon Tacubao, and Police Officer 2 Sangkula Hussein.
NBI acting assistant regional director, Hans Barbaso showed in a press conference, the closed circuit television (CCTV) footage of the alleged kidnapping outside the Condotel at Pueblo de Oro, Upper Balulang, CDO.
The video showed the victim known also as “Kiking” being shoved by five men through a white Honda minivan.
The suspects now face charges of kidnapping and carnapping filed by the NBI.
