30 Aug Pope Francis: Parents shouldn’t criticize their GAY kids; Pray, Talk & Understand Instead.

Mga higala! In a statement during his visit in Ireland, Pope Francis expressed that parents of gay kids shouldn’t criticize their children, ignore their orientation, or throw them out of the house. Parents should instead pray, talk and try to understand.
The pope also added, “Don’t condemn. Dialogue. Understand, give the child space so he or she can express themselves,” when he was asked on what should a father do if his child revealed that he/she is gay.
Pope Francis also wants to urge parents not to respond with silence. “Ignoring child with this tendency shows a lack of motherhood and fatherhood.”
He said: “This child has the right to a family. And the family not throwing him out.”
