17 Jun President Duterte May Soon Order DOH To Stop The Use Of Face Shields

Mga higala! President Rodrigo Duterte may soon order the Department Of Health (DOH) to stop the mandatory use of face shields in the country and only utilize it inside hospitals!
This is based on the tweet posted by Senate President Vicente Sotto III this morning:
“Last night, the President agreed that face shields should only be used in hospitals. Allowed us to remove ours! Attn DOH!”

Sotto was in a meeting with President Duterte last night, June 16, 2021.
To clarify, Sotto explained that during the meeting they said that the Philippines is the only country using face shields in the world, to which the President supposedly replied “Yeah, I’ll tell DOH, tigilan na ‘yan.”
