13 Aug President Duterte Launches The Largest Drug Rehab Center in Mindanao @ Malaybalay City
Mga higala! President Rodrigo Duterte has recently launched the P700 million Northern Mindanao Wellness and Reintegration Center (NMWRC) located in Casisang, Malaybalay City, Bukidnon. Together with Health Secretary Francisco T. Duque III, the president then received the ceremonial key of the rehab center from private donors and from the government of Malaybalay City during the turn-over ceremony.

FYI, the NMWRC is a modern rehabilitation center with no bars or detention walls but is equipped with a modern gymnasium, sports facilities and equipment, modern wide rooms, halls, and gardens. It is also the first of its kind in the country and its services conform to international standards of treatment and management of drug dependents.
This rehab center can accommodate close to 600 patients on a six-month treatment cycle. It has facilities for skills training and technical education to assist patients to find better job opportunities after treatment. (Photo by Marc Pascual)
