11 Jan President Duterte’s Order To Restrict Movement Of Unvaccinated People Applicable Nationwide
Mga higala! President Rodrigo Duterte’s order for barangay captains to monitor and restrict the movement of unvaccinated individuals will be applicable nationwide, especially with the recent surge in COVID-19 cases!
If the said people refuse to cooperate with the authorities or still go outside of their homes for non-essential activities, the President has expressed that an arrest may be made (but only as a last resort).
According to Acting Presidential Spokesperson and Cabinet Secretary Karlo Nograles, the said order will be enforced in all areas, regardless of the alert level status, to help ensure the public’s safety, health, and well-being.
“Mayroon pong direktiba si Pangulo na makiusap sa ating mga residente sa barangay na kapag unvaccinated, hindi pa kumpleto ang vaccination ay huwag muna lumabas para mapigilan ang pagkalat ng virus na ito, maprotektahan natin sila,” said Nograles.
