09 Jun President Duterte does another visit in CdeO
Due to the unfavorable weather , President Rodrigo Duterte was not able to do his scheduled visit yesterday, June 8, to Marawi City and instead, rerouted to Cagayan de Oro City and visited Camp Evangelista at Brgy. Patag.
In an article from SunStar.com, the President did a closed-door meeting with the officials of the 4th Infantry Division (4ID) and checked on the wounded soldiers who are now recovering at the army station hospital inside the camp.
The executive meeting may have included topics on the current situation of the whole island of Mindanao and the Marawi City siege.
The military and police are looking to conduct an interview today to answer queries on the implementation of martial law and the recent taking into custody of the former Marawi City Mayor Fajad Salic in a checkpoint at San Martin, Villanueva, Misamis Oriental.
A Martial Law Command Center (MLCC) was also formed to answer any queries regarding the martial law in wherein 4ID chief of staff Colonel Andres Centino, will act as spokesperson.
