In an article posted by Bombo Radyo Cagayan de Oro, President Rodrigo Duterte visited 76 soldiers who arrived wounded from the battlefield in Marawi City at the Camp Evangelista Station Hospital, 4th ID Philippine Army Headquarters in Cagayan de Oro City.
During the visit of Duterte, he thanked the wounded soldiers for risking their lives to fight against the Maute-ISIS terrorists in Marawi City.
He also handed each soldier a medal of Lapu-Lapu Rank of Kapilan as a token of their heroic act with other necessities such as armed weapons and cell phones among others.
The visit is just one of the many activities of President Duterte to check the condition of soldiers who are based in Camp Evangelista in Cagayan de Oro.
