05 Mar LOOK: President Duterte Visits Cagayan de Oro City
Mga higala! President Rodrigo Duterte visited Cagayan de Oro City today, March 5, 2021, to attend the National Task Force-Regional Task Force to End Local Communist Armed Conflict in Northern Mindanao (NTF-RTF-ELCAC X) meeting at the University of Science and Technology of Southern Philippines (USTP).
This joint meeting serves as a venue for officials to discuss the recent accomplishments of the said Task Force among the local communities in the regional and national levels anchored on sustaining peace and order, as well as providing basic services in conflict-affected areas. It also tackles updates on the mitigating measures, policies, and programs under the National Peace Framework that aims to address conflicts across the country.
This event was held in UTSP’s gymnasium.
