09 Dec Your President is a ‘murderer’ says Senator Leila De Lima
“People of the Philippines, your President is a murderer.”
Senator Leila De Lima branded Philippine President Rodrigo Duterte a murderer after the President announced that he would not let the Leyte policemen involved in the murder of Roland Espinos Sr. since he said they ‘acted on his orders.’
De Lima said what Duterte said is an admission that he is behind these extra-judicial killings.
She said that the president’s admission of ordering the murders comes a realization that Supt. Marvin Marcos, head of Criminal Investigation and Detection Group (CIDG) Region 8, is comprised of the expanded Davao Death Squad.
“What we have now is presidential death squad,” De Lima added.
She said that the order to kill Espinosa in cold blood came from the President.
