15 Oct PSA To Soon Launch The Mobile Version Of PH National ID
Mga higala! The Philippine Statistics Authority (PSA) is now working on a mobile version of the Philippine Identification (PhilID) or Philippine National ID!
According to Undersecretary Rosalinda Bautista, they are now developing the said version and it is targeted to be launched next year.
This version of the national ID can then be availed by linking the unique 12-digit PhilSys Number (PSN) of an ID holder to the mobile version.
It will be part of the official steps:
Step 1
The collection of demographic information such as full name, gender, date, and place of birth, blood type, and address: register.philsys.gov.ph
Step 2
The validation of supporting documents and the capture of biometric information (fingerprint, facial image data, iris scan, and more).
Step 3
The delivery of the PhilSys Number (PSN) and PhilID to the owner’s home address.
