High School Grad From Central Mindanao Campus Receives Scholarship Grants From Yale University & More

Mga higala! Nathan Wayne Ariston, an amazing high school graduate from the Philippine Science High School-Central Mindanao Campus (PSHS-CMC) in Baloi, Lanao del Norte has received admission offers from the Yale University of the United States and from several other prestigious institutions abroad!

Ariston graduated from the Nuro Central Elementary School in Maguindanao and then decided to study at PSHS-CMC where he recently graduated as part of Batch 2021.

He is the first graduate of PSHS-CMC to ever be accepted at the said Ivy League school. Yale offered him a full-ride scholarship which will cover the yearly estimated cost of attendance and will cater to his plans on majoring in Physics.

“I feel so lucky for being part of the Yale Class of 2025. And it just excites me that I am given the opportunity to explore beyond anywhere I’ve been so far to learn and to contribute to the community there and eventually here as well,” said Ariston.

Below are his other admission offers:

  1. Georgia Institute of Technology (USA)– BS Physics
  2. University of California-Irvine (USA)– BS Physics
