Have you heard the reports regarding the lapses of PCOS machines in several areas in the country? Quite alarming right?

May 9 elections is fast approaching, leaving us only 2 days before we finally cast our votes. Before we leave the fate of our country to the ones we are voting for.

But we must be vigilant enough to prevent such incidents like what if your receipt shows the name of a candidate you did not vote for? Know that you can make a quick action whenever this happens. Here are as follows:

1. Approach the Board of Election Inspectors (BEI)
2. The voter will sign the back of the receipt and give to the BEI Chairman
3. The BEI will note the incident in the minutes of the voting
4. The BEI will attach the Voter’s receipt to the minute (incident report)

NOTE that you will not be given another ballot. The receipt will not be dropped in the receptacle but instead, it will be attached to the incident. Make sure that you write on a piece of paper the Ballot ID number located at the upper right part of the ballot before you can scan it. And when the incident occurs, you can write the Ballot ID number at the back of the receipt before you sign it.

Let us take part in making this May 9 elections successful and fair. Become a vigilant Kagay-anon this elections 2016. #BantayBotoCDO #BotoCDO
