Mga higala! RECOVERING DRUGS ADDICTS have earned a total of P870,000 from their Monthly Tabo, a program initiated by the Cagayan de Oro City Government which aims to help former drug users make a decent livelihood.

In case you don’t know, the monthly tabo is a week-long activity held every third week of the month and is a venue for drug dependents to sell products available in their barangays, or even products that they made on their own.

The said amount is the overall sales of all participating barangays from March to October 2018, according to Rhyselle Descallar, head of the City Social Welfare and Development (CSWD).
