19 Jan REMINDER: Big Bikes Can Be Allowed To Park On Car Slots
Mga higala! In case you’re wondering, yes, big bikes are allowed to park on car slots, especially in commercial establishments and parking buildings!
This rule is being implemented in various malls, shopping centers, dedicated parking structures, and other facilities all over the Philippines.
ICYDK, this is because of the following reasons (and maybe more):
BIKE SIZE & PARKING SPACE
- Big bikes are a lot bigger and heavier than other motorcycles and/or scooters and take up more space. They can’t properly be parked in tight parking slots for normal motorcycles.
PRICE
- Big bikes are very expensive. Like other luxury vehicles, owners are inclined to protect them from damage or theft using a spacious and secure parking area.
SAME PARKING FEE AS CARS
- Big bikes are not just “allowed” to park in car slots. They also need to pay the same parking fee as car owners do.
So, patas and ‘reasonable’ raman diba? What do you think of this, higala?
(Note: Most of the time, motorcycles with a 400cc engine displacement or higher are referred to as big bikes.)
