15 Jun Residents Playing “Tong-its” While Drinking Alcohol In Public Caught @ Brgy. Lapasan
Mga higala! The tanods of Brgy. Lapasan recently caught some residents who ignored the warnings of their ka-barangays and kept playing tong-its while drinking alcohol in public!
The said residents were then brought to the Police Station 3 (Lapasan) of the Cagayan de Oro City Police Office (COCPO) for proper case filing.
ICYDK, tong-it is considered as illegal gambling under Presidential Decree 1602 while drinking in public is prohibited due to the city’s MECQ status.
