24 Oct Results of 204 Protested Ballot Boxes in CdeO to Undergo Further Investigations

The House of Representative Electoral Tribunal (HRET) will send the 204 ballot boxes protested by former Cagayan de Oro City Councilor Candy Darimbang to be of dubious results to the national government for further investigations.
In an article from Bombo Radyo Cagayan de Oro, the election results inside the ballot boxes will undergo probing to determine if there are cheating incidences that took place during last year’s election which allegedly resulted in the reinstatement of Congressman Rolando “Klarex” Uy in the city.
City Treasurer Ramon Mendoza said that they will just wait for orders from HRET to hear both concerned parties.
It can be remembered that Darimbang previously insisted on conducting investigations in order to give light to her belief that there are discrepancies on the election results deposited inside the said ballot boxes.
