06 Jun Retired Soldier Returns Thousands Of Pesos He Found in Cagayan de Oro To A Local ABS-CBN Station
Mga higala! Felipe Huesca, a 65-year-old retired soldier visited ABS-CBN‘s Cagayan de Oro Station to turn-over a wallet containing thousands of pesos.
According to Huesca, he was on his way to a cable company yesterday, June 5, when he found the said wallet on the street. He then proceeded to ABS-CBN in order to get help in informing the owner since it was the right thing to do.
“Iniisip ko na itong pera ay mawawala din at ‘yung dangal natin kailangan mapangalagaan,” [I pondered that money will disappear in the end, and we need to take care of our dignity.] Huesca said.
He also added that the owner may be in distress right now for losing his wallet and that his money should be returned.
