10 Jan Rice Store employee at Carmen was Shot

A worker of a rice store at Ipil St. Vamenta, Barangay Carmen, Cagayan de Oro was shot last night, January 6, Friday.
According to a report from Bombo Radyo, the victim was declared dead on arrival at a private hospital. The victim was identified by SPO3 Lito Baculio, investigator of Carmen Police Station, as Manuel Basilio, 41 years old, married and a resident of Zone 6 Macanhan Carmen.
The supposed target of the motorcycle-riding hitmen was the owner of the store but unfortunately, Basilio who was about to go home was hit.
After the shootout, the suspects then robbed the establishment.
Jean Basilio, the victim’s wife is crying for justice saying that her husband is innocent and was only working for the store. She added that she just can’t accept what happened especially that they have no other source of livelihood.
She then tapped and asked the police to solve the killing of her husband as soon as possible.
