27 Oct P15K and Gold Jewelry Stolen at Misamis Oriental Provincial Capitol
The police are still investigating the stealing incident happened on the quarters of Misamis Oriental Provincial Capitol where a bag of a top official was stolen on October 24, Monday.
P15 thousand cash money and some jewelry were stolen from Carol Caidic, Misamis Oriental assistant provincial administrator.
Caidic suspected that may be one of her 16 co-workers of Misamis Oriental employee retirees, who possibly be the suspect of the said crime.
After some time, the bag was recovered in Cogon market, Cagayan de Oro City but there was nothing inside.
The thief stole the jewelry including the gold earrings, necklace, bracelets and Identification Cards (ID).
Drug Suspect Arrested at Barangay Gusa
A notorious drug pusher will face charges for violating dangerous drugs act as he was arrested by the police forces of Cogon Police Station and Agora Police Station at Santa Cecilia Subdivision, Barangay Gusa in Cagayan de Oro City.
The suspect identified as Rondy Apale, a resident of Barangay 35, violated the Section 5, Article 2 of Republic Act 9165 or the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act.
A suspected shabu with an estimated worth of P30 thousand was confiscated from Apale during the drug buy-and-bust operation conducted at the said place yesterday afternoon, October 26, Wednesday.
Cogon Police Station deputy commander for operations Insp. Johnny Agutaya said that though the suspect was elusive, they still managed to capture and arrest the suspect.
A visitation ID (Identification Card) from Lumbia City Jail was also recovered from the suspects possession.
