22 Nov De Lima’s ex Lover: Ronnie Dayan arrested in La Union
Senator Leila De Lima’s former driver, bodyguard, lover and alleged bagman was arrested in La Union on Tuesday.
According to police reports, Dayan was arrested around 11:30 am at Sitio Turod, Barangay San Felipe, La Union.
Ronnie Dayan was pinpointed by witnesses of the Department of Justice (DOJ) during the Congress hearing on the alleged drug trade inside the New Bilibid Prison (NBP). Witnesses said the Senator’s former driver was the bagman of the lumps of money coming from the drug trade.
Senator Leila de Lima denied all allegations but later admitted to the speculation that she had romantic involvement with her former driver saying it was the “frailties of a woman” that led her to their relationship.
