RT-PCR Tests No Longer Required Again To Enter Camiguin

Mga higala! RT-PCR tests (saliva or swab) are no longer required again to enter the Province of Camiguin!

This was recently announced in the Executive Order No. 01-A of Governor Jurdin Jesus Romualdo—An Order Lifting The Modified Entry Protocols Of The Province of Camiguin Under Executive Order No. 01, Dated 13 January 2022.

According to the said order, this change in requirements is due to the fact that the Department of Health (DOH) has recently concluded that strict border control measures may no longer be effective since there’s already a community transmission of COVID-19’s Omicron variant.

Moreover, DOH has also observed that COVID-19 cases in the country are now steadily declining.
