RT-PCR

Mga higala! RT-PCR tests (saliva or swab) or COVID-19 tests are now required again to enter the Province of Camiguin (starting January 17, 2022)!

This is based on the Executive No. 1, s. 2022, of Governor Jurdin Jesus Romualdo.

According to the said order, they are re-implementing this requirement in order to prevent the entry and spread of the Omicron variant in the province and to protect its citizens amid the recent surge of COVID-19 cases in the country.

Below is the EO’s summary:

Section 1

  • Returning residents from Alert Level 3-5 areas (even if fully vaccinated) must present a negative RT-PCR test result.
  • Unvaccinated or not fully vaccinated residents will not be allowed to enter the province.

Section 2

  • Tourists from areas under Alert Level 3-5 must have a negative RT-PCR test result.
  • Only fully vaccinated tourists are allowed in the province.
