04 Jan RTA Team Leader Killed While Manning Traffic Operations in Cogon Market

Cris Cabingcas, Roads and Traffic Administration (RTA) team leader, was shot in the back by an unidentified gunman while manning traffic operations along JR Borja street and Guillermo street which is in Cogon Market last December 30, 2016. On the following day, Cabingcas died at 8:20 am.
According to a report from Rappler, Cabingcas was shot by the suspect three times as said by chairman of the city’s Task Force Hapsay Dalan Edgardo Jose Uy.
Currently, the police are still investigating to determine the motive behind the incident and if it is somewhat related to Cabingcas’ work as an RTA team leader. However, Uy believed that the shooting was work-related.
