02 Feb All RTA Enforcers To Undergo Random Drug Testing

All Roads and Traffic Administration (RTA) in Cagayan de Oro City are ordered to undergo random drug testing as mandated by the chair of RTA, Lawyer Jose Edgardo Uy.
According to a report from Sun.Star, the random testing was supposed to be done earlier but due to budget restrictions, the RTA management wasn’t able to conduct the testing.
The RTA is now going to realize the random drug testing to all officials and enforcers, Uy said, adding that the participants will not spend any amount of money as the expenses of this tests will be shouldered by the RTA office.
This drug testing is urged to be conducted as some of the RTA enforcers were involved in illegal drugs. It can be recalled that two RTA enforcers were arrested due to the illegal drugs.
