11 Mar RTA Reminds Motorists That Using Yellow Box For “Temporary Parking” Is Prohibited, Fines: Up To P5,000
Mga higala! The Roads and Traffic Administration (RTA) of Cagayan de Oro City is now reminding motorists that a YELLOW BOX should only be used for the “Loading and Unloading” of passengers and goods!
In a recent post, the RTA emphasized that using a yellow box for temporary parking, even with hazard lights, is prohibited.
The only exception to this rule is emergency situations.
Below are the fines for violators:
- 1st offense: P1,500
- 2nd offense: P3,000
- 3rd offense: P5,000
