12 Nov RTMI Finally Resumes CDO-GENSAN Bus Route Via Border-To-Border Trips

Mga higala! Rural Transit Mindanao, Inc. (RTMI) has finally resumed its “Cagayan de Oro-General Santos City” bus route and vice versa!

However, this is through the “border-to-border trips” granted by the “special permit” from the Land Transportation Franchising and Regulatory Board (LTFRB).

This means that passengers will need to ride 3 buses in order to travel between CDO and GenSan:

BUS 1– Cagayan de Oro > Omonay, Damulog, Bukidnon
BUS 2– Carmen, North Cotabato (near Damulog) > Koronadal
BUS 3– Koronadal > General Santos (and vice versa)

BTW, Bus 3 is a bus from RTMI’s sister company– Mindanao Star Bus Transport Inc. (MSBTI).

Moreover, travel authority and other documents are required (inquire about your destinations specific entry requirements), and various health protocols against COVID-19 are still being enforced.
