12 May LOOK: RTWPB-10 Holds Public Hearing About Minimum Wage Adjustments
Mga higala! The Regional Tripartite Wages and Productivity Board of Region 10 (RTWPB-10) held a public hearing last May 11, 2022, about possible wage adjustments for regular and domestic workers!
The said hearing was conducted at the Grand Caprice Restaurant in Limketkai Center, Cagayan de Oro City.
They discussed the minimum wage fixing process and the things that they can do to help workers amid the continued price increase of basic necessities. They also talked about other problems that could justify the improvement of wages all over the region.

And, here are the current minimum wage rates in Northern Mindanao.
The said rates have 4 categories and are grouped between the non-agriculture and agriculture wage rates:
WAGE CATEGORY I (CDO, Iligan, Tagoloan, Villanueva, and Jasaan)
Non-Agriculture: P365
Agriculture: P353
WAGE CATEGORY II (Malaybalay, Valencia, Gingoog, El Salvador, Ozamiz, Opol, Maramag, Quezon, Manolo Fortich, and Lugait)
Non-Agriculture: P358
Agriculture: P346
WAGE CATEGORY III (Oroquita, Tangub, Laguindingan, Mambajao, and Balingasag)
Non-Agriculture: P350
