The Process
For just P999, the project package contains hair and makeup makeovers, 1 layout, 2 concepts, and 3 high resolution photos.
The whole process went this way:
- Step 1 – Participants undergo a make-up session and prepped up for the photo shoot.
- Step 2 – Participants get their hair done by the hairstylist.
- Step 3 – Participants get dressed either using outfits they brought with them or the ones provided by the creative team for them to wear for the photo shoot.
- Step 4 – Each participant then gets to choose what concept to use for the photo shoot: Power, Water, or Paper. Participant’s choice becomes the basis for the photo shoot.
- Step 5 – Wait for the official announcement on when their photos will be available for claiming and when they will be posted on the fan page of Sanctuary Beauty Care and Wellness’
Shoot Proper
During the photo shoot, all participants are assisted by a staff member from the creative team to position them properly and to help the photographer in choreographing different poses and properly executing the posed shots.

Concept and Theme
When viewing the photographs from the project, one will notice that most of the subjects were not smiling and there were no happy shots. That’s because the main theme of the photo shoot is “Dark Beauty” so no one was made to smile, laugh, smirk, guffaw, and generally not to look happy, in order to lend an aura of “mystery” to the photograph’s subject.
Beneficiaries
This fundraising project has earmarked 3 major beneficiaries for the fundraising: The orphaned children of the Balikbayod Program in the Siargao region, and with the coming school year opening soon, the funds will go to buying much needed school supplies and materials; The St. Joseph’s Golden Home for the Aged, the funds earmarked for them definitely going to giving them basic needs that are essential for daily use such as toiletries and blankets; The touching story of Lolo Baltazar, a 70 year old Balut Vendor plying his trade at the Pelaez Bridge Rotunda area at night up to the crack of dawn just to provide for his family.
