Mga higala! As we all know, Bukidnon is famous for its natural tourist destinations, especially its majestic mountain ranges that are perfect for hiking and camping adventures!
These destinations have been visited by trekkers, hikers, and mountaineers over the years and have gained a lot of attention online.
So, in case you have tried this before and wanna visit another one, and have a challenging weekend with your barkada, you should try climbing Mt. Kiamo a.k.a. the “Pitcher Plant Mountain” in Canayan, Malaybalay City.
Mt. Kiamo stands 1,823 meters above sea level and features a tough “4/9” hike (according to www.pinoymountaineer.com). It has a lush forest with various flora and fauna, including several species of rare pitcher plants (hence the nickname).
Note: Don’t forget to wear face masks, observe social distancing, and follow other health safety protocols during your travel and stay.
