26 May SEABA Stankovic Cup 2016 Update – Philippines Beats Indonesia, Kagay-Anon Jalalon Played Well Again
On Wednesday, May 25, the Philippines’ Gilas cadet team had another impressive win, now over Indonesia! This is their third win in the cup scoring 83 points against Indonesia’s 52.
Kagay-anaon Jiovani Jalalon had another impressive game recording nine points to go along with seven assists. The leadings scorers for the Philippine team in this game are Mike Tolomia and Roger Pogoy who both recorded 12 points each.
But coach Nash Racela warned, “As a team, we have the tendency to relax when we’re already ahead. We cannot do that against Thailand.”
Thailand, together with the Philippines is the only undefeated team in this year’s Cup. Both will face each other 4 pm today.
