Seda Centrio Hotel Presents: Themed Buffets

Seda Centrio Hotel Presents: Themed Buffets

Cagayan de Oro’s Seda Centrio Hotel is once again bringing back its Themed Buffets from Wednesday to Saturday at its own Misto Restaurant and bar. Seda Centrio Hotel is Cagayan de Oro’s first 4-star hotel located along Corrales Avenue beside the Ayala Centrio Mall. It’s very own Misto Restaurant is located at the hotel’s 4th floor.

The Themed Buffets is superb dining with a wide selection of local classical dishes and international cuisine, grilled favorites, and fresh seafood that can be taken in the Misto Restaurant or at the ‘al fresco’ area near the pool side. The hotel’s brilliant ambiance is enough to whet any appetite or palate into a frenzy once the buffet is spotted on display.

Each day carries a different theme for its buffet:

Wednesdays – Around the World

Thursdays – Pizza, Pasta, and Salad

Fridays – Flame and Grill

Saturdays – Seafood Frenzy

The Themed Buffet is available for dinner time a 6:00 to 10:00 p.m. The buffet is only P650 net per person. This is inclusive as well of service charge and applicable local taxes. This is not the first time Seda Centrio Hotel has had themed buffets, though the themes this year are all new.

Back in 2015 its Misto Restaurant had themed buffets during the weekend that featured Filipino, American, barbecue grills, family brunch, and seafood fiesta themes, but on a simpler scale. A Hawaiian themed buffet greeted the hotel on its anniversary last year as well. Beginning in 2015, the hotel would also celebrate the Oktoberfest with its special buffet and discounts on selected beers. The restaurant also has its regular business lunch buffets and business dinner buffets on selected days of the month.

Misto Restaurant and bar is a unique dining experience and medley of international dishes with a different perspective compared to other hotels since it is not just a restaurant only for hotel guests. Misto is a restaurant and bar that can stand alone from the hotel, offering dining services for even non-hotel guests due to their unique chef’s choice buffets. Since its opening in December 29, 2013, Seda Centrio Hotel has garnered:

  • Winner of the 2014 World Travel Awards, Philippines’ Leading Hotel Group
  • 2014 Certificate of Excellence from Trip Advisor
  • 2016 Friendliest Staff Award – ACADEO’s Choice Awards
  • 2016 Innovation in Service Award – ACADEO’s Choice Awards

Seda Hotels are under the umbrella of Ayala Land Hotels and Resorts Corporation, aside from owning Raffles Makati and Cebu Marriot. The Seda line is a concept owning and managing a homegrown Filipino hotel rather than franchising international names, thus, establishing a Philippine name for international hotel recognition. “Seda” is an old Filipino word meaning “silk.” It can also be a sweeping word to mean “cocoon” or “woven silk.” Thus, the word Seda aptly describes all Ayala hotels bearing the ‘Seda’ name that they can run “smooth as silk.” Seda Centrio is another in a line of Ayala Hotels along with Seda Abreeza, Seda Nuvali, and Seda Atria. Seda Centrio is presently under the captaincy of Mr. Armand Angeles as general manager.
