05 Apr LOOK: Ship Causes Oil Spill @ Misamis Oriental’s Macajalar Bay
Mga higala! MV Tower One (former MV Racal) sank and caused an oil spill last Saturday, April 3, 2021, at around 6:55 pm, in the waters of the Macajalar Bay in Brgy. Luz Banzon, Jasaan, Misamis Oriental!
The Philippine Coast Guard (PCG), with the help of the local government, has already conducted oil containment operations in the said area.
ICYDK, oil spills can cause great damage to waterways, marine animals and plants, and can affect the health and livelihood of people on land.
