13 Dec SIM Card Registration To Finally Start This December 27
Mga higala! SIM card registration in the Philippines will finally start this December 27, 2022!
With this, old and new mobile users will need to register their subscriber’s identity module (SIM) in accordance with Republic Act 11934 or the SIM Registration Act.
ICYDK, existing users will have 6 months to register and owners of deactivated SIM cards only have 5 days (to register and reactivate).
Meanwhile, new SIMs will now be deactivated and will only be activated once users complete the registration process.
The registration will be done online via a secure website or portal created by the concerned telecommunication companies.
Users will then need to provide their personal information together with a copy of a valid identification card.
