16 Nov Smart Padala Officially Launches for Business Partnerships in Cagayan de Oro City
Smart Communications and Smart Padala officially launched its money remittance service on Friday, November 11, 2016, at the Maison de BonBon, the Nest, along Corrales Avenue.
Smart Padala is the money remittance service of Smart Communications and this launching not only for the information of the general public but to also encourage business partnerships with potential entrepreneurs to set up Smart Padala Centers around the city. The Padala Centers aim to be all-in-one centers where you can go to load up for Smart calls and texts, encash remittances, send remittances, and even to pay utility bills.
At present there are already 15,000 Padala Centers all over the country. A Smart Padala Center is a good means of income for present or novice entrepreneurs. It is also very easy to set up since all they need is just to complete all the basic government permits requirements, have a physical store, and a minimum capital to facilitate processing of remittances. Having an existing store or business that can connect to the money remittance service is an advantage.
The Padala Center can even become the one-stop shop for remittances and payments for a local community so people can send or receive money, load up on prepaid accounts, or pay bills without having to travel to the city’s center.
During the launching, Mr. Butch Conejos, Head of Domestic Remittances for Smart e-Money, discussed about what the Smart Money and Smart Padala Center are, how they work, and how to become a Smart Padala Center.
There was a Question and Answer Game for all guests. Those who gave the correct answers were given special prizes including Smart Padala credits. Part of the launching was also given to personal testimonials from those who have entered into the Smart Padala Center business.
Towards the end, all guests were given passes to the Smart Sabado Saya Live in CDO featuring Kylie Padilla. This event was held at the Capitol Grounds on Saturday, November 12, starting at 6:00 p.m.
And since it’s almost December, Smart Padala is also launching its early promo Christmas treat called Holiday Giveaway Discount and Raffle. Actually started last September, remittance prices are now much lower compared to the original price.
For every transaction, you get a free electronic raffle ticket. Draw dates are scheduled for November, December, and January. Prizes at stake will be P10,000 in cash for bi-monthly winners, 15 Pang Negosyo Packages, and 10 Kawasaki motorcycles. This promo is actually exclusive for Mindanao only so you have more chances of winning the more transactions you have.
