Mga higala! A SNATCHER robbed and punched an old woman in the face, in front of Ororama Cogon last night, April 1, 2019.

Unfortunately for him, witnesses in the area were alarmed when the woman screamed for help. They stopped and attacked the snatcher who was still clutching the victim’s bag until they were halted by other concerned citizens.

The old woman was then brought to a hospital because her face needed minor stitches.

The snatcher was beaten up and was unable to stand.

Thankfully, concerned citizens helped the victim and contacted the police.

The suspect is now in the custody of the police.
