02 Nov Soldier Faces Criminal Charges After Firing Gun at Traffic Enforcer
The soldier who was involved in a fight with a traffic enforcer and allegedly fired a gun at him along JR Borja Bridge has been charged with criminal offenses by the Roads and Traffic Administration last week.
In an article from Bombo Radyo Cagayan de Oro, soldier PFC Guillmo Lofranco Jr., assigned at the 51st IB, Philippine Army, was not able to appease the RTA Enforcer Mark Sherwin Relevo who was wounded when the soldier fired a gun at him while they were arguing about traffic rules and regulations on the bridge.
The shooting incident took place when Relevo prevented the vehicle of Lofranco to pass through the bridge after the soldier supposedly violated one of the traffic rules.
It was also discovered that some motorists in the city have been the subject of abuses of Relevo before.
