25 Sep Soon-to-be-wedded Couple Died In A Vehicular Accident At Barangay Gusa

In an article posted by Bombo Radyo Cagayan de Oro, a soon-to-be-wedded will not be able to say their vows after a vehicular accident at Barangay Gusa, Cagayan de Oro City took away their lives.
According to Traffic Investigator of Cugman Police Station, SPO1 AL Hapsi Akhmad, the victims were identified as Ylona Jane Saranz and Benjie Cornelia who, according to Akhmad, were quarreling at the time of the accident.
The bus driver was identified as Charlie Condreso and another truck driver was named as Bonifacio Macalam.
The quarreling couple rush to the highway which led to the Saranz being hit by the Condreso’s bus. Cornelia tried to save his partner when Macalam’s truck into him.
The couple was brought to the Northern Mindanao Medical Center (NMCC) but Saranz died on the spot while Cornelia died on arrival.
The drivers were arrested and will be charged with reckless imprudence resulting in homicide and serious physical injury.
