24 Feb SPOTTED: Illegal Logging @ Iligan’s Mt. Agad-Agad

Mga higala! An upsetting view caused by recent illegal logging activities was spotted in the Mt. Agad-Agad of Iligan City!
According to Facebook posts by Manny Cabido, the trees in the area shown below were planted by the Rotary Club of Metro Iligan around 30 years ago, to alleviate the effects of kaingin.

This illegal logging incident has been reported to the local Department of Environment and Natural Resources (DENR) office and the police.
Investigations are now being conducted and hopefully those involved will soon receive the appropriate penalties for this despicable crime against nature.
