27 Nov SSS To Release 13th Month Pensions Starting December 1
Mga higala! The Social Security System (SSS) has announced that pensioners will finally receive their 13th-month pensions beginning December 1, 2020!
According to SSS President Aurora Ignacio, they are now transferring funds to the Development Bank of the Philippines (DBP) so that the amounts will already be withdrawable on the said date.
“Unti-unti na po nating nilalabas sa DBP (Development Bank of the Philippines) yung pondo para maibigay na nila sa mga bangko at maging withdrawable na siya on December 1.”
Moreover, the SSS has recently started to released regular pensions through the DBP’s disbursement facility via the Philippine Electronic Fund Transfer System and Operations Network (PESONet) and other accredited channels.
