07 Jan Still No Traslacion Or Black Nazarene Procession In CDO This 2022
Mga higala! Just like last year, there’s still no TRASLACION procession and other related gatherings in Cagayan de Oro for The Feast of the Black Nazarene this January 9, 2022, due to the still ongoing threat of the COVID-19 pandemic!
Instead, according to Msgr. Perseus Cabunoc, only a caravan or motorcade with selected vehicles will be conducted and devotees will not be allowed to:
- join the caravan or motorcade
- kiss, touch, or embrace the image of the Black Nazarene
Cabunoc then stressed that devotees should always observe health protocols, especially with the new Omicron variant, and help protect everyone during these times.
