05 Nov Students Can Now Avail 20% Discount On Domestic Flights Starting This November 2019- CAB

Mga higala! Students will now be able to avail of a 20% DISCOUNT on DOMESTIC FLIGHTS starting this November 1, 2019, according to the Civil Aeronautics Board (CAB)!

This is part of the Republic Act No. 11314 or the Student Fare Discount Act.

Based on an article from INQUIRER.net, the 20% discount can be used by students enrolled in any elementary, secondary, technical or vocational and higher educational institutions. However, it will not cover those enrolled in postgraduate and “informal short-term courses” such as dancing, swimming, music, driving lessons and seminar-type courses.

The said discount will be calculated from the “regular base fare” of domestic flights.
