04 Jan Students from Bukidnon Cross River to CDO Safely with Newly-Opened Hanging Bridge

Before, students coming from two barangays in Bukidnon use a makeshift bamboo raft to cross a river, or climb a steep cliff and trek nearly a kilometer, just to go to school situated in Barangay Bayanga in Cagayan de Oro, but with the newly-opened hanging bridge, they can now go to school without the worries of being in danger.
Formally opened last December 23, 2016, the hanging bridge was ordered to be constructed by the officials of the Department of Public Works and Highways after the said students’ plight was featured in TV Patrol.
