07 Aug LOOK: Students @ Iligan City Wear Long-Sleeves & Pajamas To School To Avoid Mosquito Bites
Mga higala! An elementary school in Barangay Buru-un, Iligan City, suspended their rule to always wear uniforms, and allowed their students to put on long sleeves and pajamas, in order to avoid mosquito bites and help reduce the risk dengue.
According to a post by TV Patrol North Mindanao, Buru-un has one of the highest numbers of dengue cases in Iligan City.
Moreover, based on data from the Department of Health (DOH), Northern Mindanao now has 11,455 recorded dengue cases, from January to July 2019.
