13 Jun LOOK: Surigao & Siargao Airports Finally Recover From Typhoon Odette
Mga higala! Just a few months after being severely damaged by Typhoon Odette (December 2021), the Surigao and Siargao Airports of Surigao del Norte are now fully repaired and ready to serve locals and tourists!
A site inspection for the said airports was recently conducted by DOTr Secretary Art Tugade and Undersecretary for Finance Giovanni Lopez, together with the Airport Projects Team, led by Civil Aviation Authority of the Philippines (CAAP) Director General Jim Sydiongco and CAAP Chief-of-Staff Atty. Danjun Lucas.

BTW, the Siargao Airport now have an improved arrival and departure area, baggage screening counters, a children’s room, and a breastfeeding area.
