07 Sep 5 Suspended CDO Police Officers Filed Motion for Reconsideration
5 police officers under Cagayan de Oro City Public Safety Company urge to file a motion for reconsideration (MR) to the Ombudsman as they were suspended for a month.
City Police Director S/Supt Ronnie Francis Cariaga said that the suspension order was issued last week and the suspension lasted for a month. One of the suspended officers was Police Insp Jack Larita.
Before the suspension, lawsuits and illegal arrest against these five officers were filed by Faisal Maute Imam, who was seized in a checkpoint at Kinasanghan, Iponan last January 2016. I
The case filed by the police against Imam was discarded and made the officers suspended.
