04 Sep Task Force Urges IATF To Place Misamis Oriental Back To GCQ
Mga higala! The Provincial Task Force for COVID-19 has filed a resolution urging the National Inter-Agency Task Force on Emerging Infectious Diseases (IATF-EID)
to place Misamis Oriental back under General Community Quarantine (GCQ)!
This was decided to help fight the rising number of coronavirus cases in Region 10.
According to the Provincial Information Office, the said task force wants a GCQ even for just a month.
If approved, the province will be able to limit the movement of residents and non-residents with the requirement of quarantine and travel passes, travel authority, curfew, and implement other health protocols.
The task force then emphasized that they just want to take care of the welfare of the people in Misamis Oriental.
ICYDK, as of September 3, 2020, a total of 195 confirmed COVID-19 cases have been recorded in the province.
