09 Feb Taxi Drivers Plead LTFRB For Fare Increase in Region X

The Metro Taxi Federation has expressed their appeal to the Land Transportation and Franchising Regulatory Board- LTFRB-10. This is in regards to the implementation of fare increase of all taxis in Region 10.
In a report by Bombo Radyo, Metro taxi Federation President, Allan Gamba stated that this has been an overdue request especially with the sudden implementation of TRAIN Law.
Gamba also said that they want to lengthen the waiting time for taxis and apply the 50-peso flag down rate as soon as possible. This will help all taxi drivers and operators adapt to the price inflation of their daily needs.
In addition to this, Gamba assures that they will do everything in their power to improve the services of taxi drivers once their requests are granted.
