Mga higala! All teachers and education personnel can now register for COVID-19 vaccinations through their respective local government units (LGU)!

This was recently announced by DepEd Undersecretary Annalyn Sevilla.

According to reports, teachers and education workers are now part of the A4 priority list for vaccinations. This includes teachers and non-teaching personnel who don’t have comorbidities and even those who are not senior citizens.

This will help give the Department of Education (DepEd) a higher chance to safely reopen schools.

However, Sevilla emphasized that this will still depend on the COVID-19 vaccine supply of each LGU.
