Teachers & Students Evacuated @ MOGCHS Due To Alleged Bomb Threat (Updated)

Mga higala! Teachers and students were evacuated earlier this afternoon, February 10, 2020, at the Misamis Oriental General Comprehensive High School (MOGCHS) of Cagayan de Oro City, due to an alleged bomb threat!

Details are still not clear on how the bomb threat was discovered, but authorities are now at the school and its whole area is now being cleared. (Update below)

After a thorough inspection of the school, the city’s bomb squad has declared that no bombs were found and that it is now safe for teachers and students.

The authorities are now tracing the phone number that texted the bomb threat to MOGCHS’ principal.

Classes will resume tomorrow, February 11.
