30 Oct Ten 100-year-old Kagay-anons receive P200K Each from the Government
Ten Kagay-anon senior citizens received P200,000 of cash each from the City Government of Cagayan de Oro City and the national government for remarkably reaching their centennial or 100 years of age.
In an article from Cagayan de Oro City Philippines, the “centenarians” were awarded the cash grant and a plaque of recognition at the Limketkai Mall, Cagayan de Oro during the “Elderly Filipino Week” Celebration last October 27, 2017.
The esteemed centenarians were: 112-year old Diangca Sharief Alnao of Barangay Nazareth, 111-year old Vicenta Camahan Gondo of Brgy. Carmen, 103-year old Francisco Opalla of Lumbia, 103-year old Eulalia Blanco Velez of Brgy. 14, 102-year old Marcela Himo Silmohan of Brgy. Carmen, 102-year old Rufina Enriquez Sumahon of Brgy. Tumpagon, 101-year old Francisca M. Villamil of Brgy. Nazareth, 101-year old Jovita Galvez Tabor of Brgy. Carmen, 101-year old Bernardino Macas Dacer of Brgy. Bonbon, and 100-year old Leonor Moreno of Brgy. Carmen.
The cash award was awarded was divided to P100 each from the City Government and the national government through DSWD.
